Brooks Reavill

Founder & CEO of Mental Performance Specialists LLC

Brooks has been a competitive athlete for over 20 years. As a child, he enjoyed swimming, baseball, soccer, and water polo, But it was rowing that proved to be his calling. He spent four years as an oarsman at Brown University where he helped their varsity boat place 2nd in the nation (2014). After graduating Brown, Brooks represented Team USA at the 2016 World Rowing Championships in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

his passion for competition led him to become a Certified Mental Performance Specialist (CMPC) with a Master’s degree in sport and health psychology. He currently works with amateur and collegiate athletes as well as members of the United States military.

Avery Reavill

Founder & CFO of Mental Performance Specialists LLC

Avery Has been a Lifelong athlete. As a kid, Avery participated in swimming, soccer, baseball, and water polo. Like his twin brother Brooks, rowing took him to the next level of competition. He also spent four years at Brown University on the Men’s Varsity Crew Team, reaching the IRA National Championship Finals each year. Along with his brother, Avery represented the United States at the 2016 Under 23 World Championships in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

His love of competition drew him to coaching water polo, swimming, and crew at Phillips Exeter Academy. Avery enjoys working with high school athletes as they begin to take a more focused approach to athletics. To give his teams a competitive edge, Avery delivers mental performance training to his players and Co-Coaches. His ongoing experiences with high school athletics keep his colleagues at MPS informed about the challenges facing modern athletes.
